Steenbok

Steenboks are using found in singly or in pairs, and they are a territorial species.

Territories are confirmed by the chasing away of other Steenboks. Territories are also marked by dung piles.

Steenbok resemble small Oribi, standing 45 to 60 cm at the shoulder. Their pelage is any shade from fawn to rufous, typically rather orange. The underside, including chin and throat, is white, as is the ring around the eye. Ears are large with "finger-marks" on the inside.
